37 Vulnerabilities Patched in Android

Google’s June 2024 Android security update addresses 37 vulnerabilities, including multiple high-severity elevation of privilege flaws in the Framework and System components. The update, which rolls out in two parts (2024-06-01 and 2024-06-05 security patch levels), fixes 19 issues in the Framework and System, and 18 additional vulnerabilities in Kernel, Imagination Technologies, Arm, MediaTek, and Qualcomm components, with three Qualcomm-specific flaws marked critical. The update also includes patches for Wear OS and incorporates all previous fixes, though no new patches were issued for Android Automotive OS or Pixel devices. Google reports no known exploitation of these vulnerabilities and urges users to update their devices promptly.
