Beware of WhisperGate and HermeticWiper - Warns the FBI and CISA

The FBI and CISA published a combined notice on the malware WhisperGate andHermetic Wiper.While the initial attack vector is unclear, the researchers believe the attackers employed lateral movement tools such as Impacket.
It was discovered in a Windows DLL or EXE that lacked an Authenticode signature, and its most recent PE compilation timestamp is from October 2021.
