New Botnet Targets Linux Devices Via Log4J Vulnerability

Researchers have discovered a new botnet virus that targets Linux computers by exploiting the Log4J vulnerability. It tries to steal sensitive information, create reverse shells, and install rootkits.

It is intended for Linux ARM and X64 CPU architecture devices, according to 360 Netlab. It takes use of a flaw in the Apache Log4j logging library to target additional host devices.
