Chrome 106 Update Patches Several High-Severity Vulnerabilities

On Tuesday, Google revealed that the most recent Chrome update fixes six critical flaws, including four use-after-free problems. The internet behemoth paid out $38,000 in bug bounty incentives to the reporters after external researchers found all the recently patched vulnerabilities.

The use-after-free vulnerability in Skia, the open-source 2D graphics package that acts as Chrome’s graphics engine, is the most serious of the newly patched problems based on the bug bounty sums that Google has given out. Read More…
