Chrome 111 Patches 40 Vulnerabilities

With patches for 40 vulnerabilities, Chrome 111 was this week released to the stable channel, according to an announcement from Google. Outside researchers brought to our attention 24 of the security flaws that were fixed. Eight of these defects are of a high severity, 11 are of a medium severity, and five are of a low severity.

Use-after-free defects affecting Swiftshader, DevTools, and WebRTC are three of the high-severity flaws discovered by outside researchers; Google offered bounty awards of $15,000, $4,000, and $3,000 for finding these flaws, respectively.
