Drones Contain Over 156 Different Cyber Threats, Angoka Research Finds

Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), usually referred to as drones, are used for a variety of purposes. A new paradigm known as the Internet of drones (IoD) is occasionally introduced when multiple drones are simultaneously managed in a swarm by an Internet service provider.

Before Elon Musk decided to limit it in February 2023, the Ukrainian military, for example, was utilising SpaceX’s Starlink satellite internet service to command military drones. Drone swarms are also more frequently utilised for civil objectives, such as photographing outdoor events, logistics, or the delivery of medical supplies, according to Shadi Razak, CEO of smart city security firm Angoka, who made the statement on June 21, 2023 during Infosecurity Europe.
