First Patch Tuesday of 2022 Brings Fix for a Critical 'Wormable' Windows Vulnerability

Microsoft began its first set of updates for 2022 by patching 96 security holes across its software ecosystem, while urging customers to prioritise patching for a critical “wormable” vulnerability.
Nine of the 96 vulnerabilities are rated Critical, 89 are rated Important, and six zeroday vulnerabilities were publicly known at the time of the release.
