Google Patches Chrome Fifth Zero Day of the Year


One of the 11 bugs fixed in a patch this week might have allowed arbitrary code execution and was actively being exploited. It was an input issue with insufficient validation.

One of the updates contained in a stable channel update provided by Google on Wednesday addresses the fifth actively exploited zero-day vulnerability found in Chrome this year. The flaw, identified as CVE-2022-2856, was deemed to be of a high CVSS severity (CVSS). Read More…
