Mantis Botnet Behind the Largest HTTPS DDoS Attack Targeting Cloudflare Customers

In June 2022, the largest HTTPS distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack ever recorded was carried out by a botnet that has since been connected to a wave of strikes on almost 1,000 Cloudflare users.

Over 20% of assaults targeted American firms, followed by those from Russia, Turkey, France, Poland, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, and Canada. The most often targeted industry verticals are internet and telecom, media, gaming, finance, business, and retail. Read More…
