Microsoft's Final 2023 Patch Tuesday 33 Flaws Fixed, Including 4 Critical

One of the lighter Patch Tuesday releases in recent memory, Microsoft closed 33 software problems with the release of its last round of fixes for 2023.



29 of the 33 flaws are graded as Important in severity, and four are ranked as Critical. The patches complement the eighteen vulnerabilities that Microsoft has fixed in its Edge browser, which runs on Chromium, since the November 2023 Patch Tuesday releases.It’s one of the busiest years for Microsoft updates, with the software giant having fixed over 900 vulnerabilities so far this year, according to statistics from the Zero Day Initiative. In contrast, in 2022 Redmond fixed 917 CVEs.
