NASA, Airbus Partner Autonomous Flight Technologies Targeted by BlackCat

Maker of unmanned drone systems Autonomous Flight Technologies (AFT) is said to have been the target of a ransomware attack by the infamous BlackCat organization. The attackers allegedly sold stolen data to an unidentified foreign party and claimed responsibility for the Autonomous Flight Technologies data breach. Acknowledged for its state-of-the-art unmanned drone technology, AFT has notable alliances with major players in the industry like Northrop Grumman, Airbus, NASA, and NBC.



The corporation has not yet provided an official statement or rebuttal about the purported Autonomous Flight Technologies data breach, thus the claims remain unsubstantiated in spite of these well-publicized partnerships. Threat researcher Dominic Alvieri clarified the matter on Twitter.
