Nation-State Hacker Attacks on Critical Infrastructure Soar Microsoft

According to Microsoft’s 2022 Digital Defense Report, nation-state hacker attacks on crucial infrastructure have increased, mostly as a result of Russian cyber operations against Ukraine and its allies.

20% of all nation-state assaults tracked by Microsoft between June 2020 and June 2021 were directed at vital infrastructure. Between July 2021 and June 2022, that percentage rose to 40%.
