New algorithm may change the future of secure communication

This technology may soon be widely employed in digital human contacts, including social media and private messaging, according to the team, which is directed by the University of Oxford and works closely with Carnegie Mellon University. In example, the capacity to transfer information in a completely safe manner may give susceptible parties more influence.

The algorithm is used in steganography, which is the art of concealing sensitive information within seemingly unimportant text. Steganography is different from cryptography in that it hides sensitive data in a way that makes it difficult to detect its concealment.
