NSA publishes IPv6 Security Guidance

To assist the Department of Defense (DoD) and other system administrators in identifying and minimising security risks related to a switch to Internet Protocol version 6, the National Security Agency (NSA) developed guidelines (IPv6). IPv6 Security Guidance demonstrates how several security vulnerabilities might manifest in IPv6-new networks or during the initial stages of the IPv6 transition. Dual-stacked networks, which run on IPv4 and IPv6 concurrently, offer a larger attack surface than networks that are new to IPv6 and lack maturity in IPv6 setups and tools.
