Over 30 WordPress Plugins and Themes Can be Abused by New Linux Malware

A security company has revealed a harmful Linux threat that targets websites with the WordPress content management system. 30 vulnerabilities in various WordPress plugins and themes are taken advantage of by the malware. Dr. Web claims that the malware is capable of remote command and targets 32-bit and 64-bit Linux computers.

When an outdated add-on is found on a website, dangerous JavaScript code is injected into the web pages. Users who click on the page are redirected to the hackers’ preferred pages. Linux malware has been identified. BackDoor. A specific webpage can be attacked by WordPressExploit.1.
