Patches issued for denial-of-service vulnerability found in cloud-native Envoy proxy


Envoy Proxy, a widely used open-source edge and service proxy server designed for cloud-native applications and high-traffic websites, was discovered to have a denial-of-service (DoS) vulnerability on Thursday.

The DoS vulnerability, according to the JFrog researchers, allows attackers to crash the proxy server, resulting in performance degradation and the unavailability of proxy-managed resources. Read More…
