Researchers warn of APTs, data leaks as serious threats against UK financial sector

The KELA security team released a report in early 2022 that looked at the cybersecurity issues and threats that surfaced in the United Kingdom’s banks and other financial services.

Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the United Kingdom was one of the first countries to support Ukraine. This could make UK organisations an enticing target for Russian-aligned threat actors, whether they are state-sponsored APT outfits or hacktivists.
