SAP releases security updates fixing five critical vulnerabilities

SAP, a software manufacturer, has published security fixes for 19 vulnerabilities, five of which are classified as serious, necessitating immediate application by administrators in order to reduce the risks involved. Several products are affected by the defects repaired this month, although the critical severity bugs only affect SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence Platform (CMC) and SAP NetWeaver.

Because to their widespread use by major corporations throughout the world and potential as access points to incredibly valuable systems, security weaknesses in SAP products are good targets for threat actors. Threat actors were noted exploiting patched vulnerabilities in unpatched SAP systems in April 2021 to enter business networks.
