Startup Spotlight- Gomboc.ai Balances Cloud Infrastructure Security

Misconfigurations of the cloud are a major factor in breaches that result in data loss for businesses, especially with the ongoing transition to cloud and multicloud systems. However, humans cannot audit and monitor every possible endpoint and connection to cloud services on their own, which is how such breaches spread.
A proprietary kind of deterministic artificial intelligence (AI) developed by Gomboc.ai, which the business claims avoids the drawbacks of the more widely used generative AI model, tries to address the issue. The business employs deterministic AI to optimise cloud security and is one of four finalists in Black Hat USA’s startup challenge for 2023.
