Android game dev’s Google Drive misconfig highlights cloud security risks

Over the course of six years and eight months, Japanese game company Ateam has demonstrated that a straightforward error in Google Drive configuration might potentially, but improbably, expose sensitive information to almost one million people. The Japanese company, which also includes Ateam Entertainment, is a producer of mobile games and entertainment. Some of the games available on Google Play are War of Legions, Dark Summoner, and Hatsune Miku – Tap Wonder. Other products include Memory Clear | Game Boost Master and Good Night’s Sleep Alarm.
