Flipper Zero releases Firmware 1.0 after three years of development


After three years of development, Flipper Zero has released its first major firmware version, bringing improved stability and performance to the portable hacking device. The 1.0 update solidifies support for 89 radio, 4 infrared, and 20 RFID protocols, enhances Bluetooth and NFC communication speeds, and introduces features like dynamic app loading, JavaScript support, and a month-long battery life in standby mode. Notably, the NFC system has been overhauled for faster card reading and support for new card types. Firmware updates are now faster, and users can install the latest version via Bluetooth or USB. Despite shifting focus to a new product, the Flipper Zero team will continue expanding the device’s capabilities and addressing issues.
