The Government of India has launched e-Zero FIR, a pilot project in Delhi to fast-track action against high-value cyber financial crimes over ₹10 lakh. Complaints made via the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (NCRP) or helpline 1930 will be automatically converted into FIRs at the Delhi e-Crime Police Station and routed to local cybercrime units. Announced by Home Minister Amit Shah, this initiative by the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C) aims to create a Cyber-Secure Bharat by enabling rapid investigations and reducing procedural delays.
