New Google-led Global Signal Exchange aims to centralize fraud detection across platforms


Google has launched the Global Signal Exchange (GSE), a centralized platform aimed at detecting and combating online scams and fraud. Partnering with the Global Anti-Scam Alliance and DNS Research Federation, GSE facilitates the exchange of abuse signals to quickly identify and disrupt fraudulent activities across platforms. Powered by Google Cloud's AI, the platform allows participants to share and analyze scam signals, with Google already contributing over 100,000 fraudulent URLs. GSE's goal is to enhance global collaboration in fighting online fraud, backed by Google’s expertise and additional funding for its partners.
