Unpatched Ruckus Vulnerabilities Allow Wireless Environment Hacking


Multiple critical vulnerabilities have been discovered in Ruckus Wireless’ Virtual SmartZone (vSZ) and Network Director (RND) products, potentially allowing attackers to bypass authentication, execute remote code, and gain root access. The flaws involve hardcoded secrets, insecure API handling, and weak encryption. No patches are available yet, and CERT/CC advises isolating affected systems as Ruckus has not responded to contact attempts.
