Last month, Apple released iOS 14.5 with an app tracking transparency tool that allows users to choose whether or not they want their data tracked.

When provided the choice, however, many users refuse to allow apps to collect tracking data. Just 13% of global iOS users have approved apps to monitor by the second week of the feature being enabled, according to a study from Verizon Media-owned Flurry Analytics.
