Google Patches Actively Exploited Chrome Bug


The manufacturer had to repair a fourth zero-day vulnerability in its browser product so far this year as Americans were enjoying the Fourth of July holiday. Google discreetly released a stable channel update for Chrome to fix the problem.

A heap buffer overflow bug in WebRTC, the engine that powers the browser’s real-time communications feature, has been fixed in Chrome 103 for Android and Version 103.0.5060.114 for Windows and Mac, according to separate blog entries published on Monday. Read More…
