Co-op cyber attack leaves island shop shelves empty


A cyberattack on Co-op has disrupted food deliveries across parts of Scotland, leaving many stores -- especially in Skye and the Western Isles--with empty shelves and rationed goods. The attack led to significant customer data theft and impacted logistics, as staff work to restore operations. The UK's National Cyber Security Centre has since warned of more retailer-targeted attacks and urged stronger IT helpdesk security.
