T-Mobile to Pay Millions to Settle With FCC Over Data Breaches


T-Mobile has agreed to a $31.5 million settlement with the FCC over four data breaches that exposed personal information of millions of customers. The company will invest $15.75 million to enhance cybersecurity and pay a $15.75 million penalty, while also committing to adopting zero-trust architecture, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and network segmentation to improve security practices.
